graham cracker crumbs *
can be substituted for gluten-free crumbs
semi-sweet chocolate chips
can of sweetened condensed milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter and pour into an 8×8 pan. Pour graham cracker crumbs into the pan, mix and press into a crust. *1
Layer the coconut evenly over the crust.
Spread chocolate chips on top of coconut.
Pour the entire can of sweetened condensed milk on top of the chocolate chips and use a rubber spatula if necessary to fill in any spaces with the condensed milk.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Allow to cool completely for at least 3 hours.
Cut into 1 inch squares and store in an air tight container.
You may need to adjust the amount of graham cracker crumbs and/or butter to get the crust to the right consistency.
